Marcus Young was born in Washington, DC where he began his career as a freelance photographer. While freelancing, he earned his associates degree in Photography from The Art Institute of Washington. Shortly after, he moved to Los Angeles, California to further expand his career as a photographer. After several years in Los Angeles, California, Marcus returned to Washington, DC and enrolled at the University of the District of Columbia where he completed his bachelor’s degree in Photography with distinction.
Marcus’s work has been displayed at the Studio Gallery - DC, and Gallery 42 - DC. With his experience behind the lens, Marcus’s works include; conceptual, brand, and fashion photography.
Currently, Marcus continues to work as a freelance photographer and in marketing in the Washington, DC area.
